Mildura’s finest citizens, Jackson Firebird, have lined up a few shows in support of their new album, Shake the Breakdown. One-part Dale Hudak and one-part Brendan Harvey, JF took off in 2006, though prior to that they were known to jam away for hours on end out the back of a local bakery.
Shake… has been picking up some love abroad, including from the UK’s Moshville Times, who wrote: “Shake the Breakdown is a great album musically, but the icing on the cake is that it’s just such damn good fun. I’d love to catch these guys live – if they can entertain as well between songs as they do during then they’ll be superb.” Workers Club, Geelong – November 19 & Sandbar, Mildura – November 20.
