SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium has officially lifted the curtain on its latest masterpiece, ‘Night on the Reef’, a dazzling $9 million exhibit that plunges visitors into the enchanting depths of the ocean.

After 11 months of meticulous planning and transformation, the 24-year-old oceanarium now stands as a vibrant living ecosystem, showcasing the captivating beauty and diversity of coral reefs worldwide.

The Night on the Reef experience is an immersive journey, alive with a kaleidoscope of tropical fish species, sharks, eagle rays, guitarfish, and more. The 360° habitat allows guests to stroll along a bioluminescent beach, surrounded by a vivid spectacle of colours that mirror the bustling life found in coral reefs globally. This unique display promises an up-close and personal encounter with the mesmerising marine world.

The $9 million investment not only promises a spectacular experience but also serves as an invaluable educational opportunity for visitors of all ages. Marine educators will conduct informative presentations, enhancing understanding and appreciation for the fragile ecosystems that countless creatures call home.
