Scientist’s Kim Salmon announces Geelong, Castlemaine dates for national tour

Kim Salmon isn't slowing down, his new outfit Smoked Salmon is doing the aussie rounds this March.

March show announcements are going swimmingly well with Scientists, Beasts of Bourbon member and internationally revered avant-garde artrocker Kim Salmon’s new outfit Smoked Salmon heading out on a national tour to promote their forthcoming self-titled debut album.

Smoked salmon tour dates:

  • Fri 14 March – Bridge Hotel, Castlemaine, Vic – Tix
  • Sun 30 March – Barwon Club, Geelong – Tix
  • Sat 12 April – Northcote Social Club, Melbourne – Tix

The announcement follows the launch of the video for “Hell in a Handbasket”, which is the second tasty single from the forthcoming album.

Hell in a Handbasket debuted at #2 on the AIR 100 per cent Independant Singles follows previous single How Did they Ever Manage which debuted at #1 on the chart in September.

Smoked Salmon’s debut album, which is self-titled, will be released on 28 February, 2025, and will comprise a selection of new material that sits seamlessly alongside ‘the old stuff you love’ , all lovingly performed by an international cast.

Dimi Dero; Delphine Ciampi; Sylvain Philipon; Todd Pickett; Jozeph Grech; Claire Birchall; Douglas Galbraith; Myles Mumford; Finn Keane; Sam Worrad; Jeffery Baker and Jeff Hooker all come together to create an episode in the musical adventure of Kim Salmon’s life.
