Sarah describes new single ‘Try To Get It Right’ as “A little song about big mistakes.”
“This track is my way of saying sorry for some of the mistakes I’ve made and sharing my belief in the power of hearing and believing another person’s story,” Sarah continues. “My younger son George, in his song ‘Keep You Satisfied’, wrote ‘Sorry means nothing when you don’t wanna change’ and these are words to live by.”
‘Try To Get It Right’ features on the latest record NQR&B, which features contributions from sons Fenn and George, longtime collaborators and guitarists Leigh Ivin (of the Re-mains, and producer of Sarah’s last album Star Parade) and Shannon Bourne, as well as Shannon’s fellow member of Checkerboard Lounge, Tim Neal on keys and clarinet, and singer-songwriter and close friend Jackie Marshall, who duets with Sarah on the album’s new single and video ‘I Love The Way We Talk’.
‘Try To Get It Right’ is out now. You can stream it here. NQR&B is out now and can be streamed here.
