The legendary EDM veteran Darude is set to return to Australia this June 2022 in what will be his first return to the country since 2019.
Kicking off in Wollongong on June 2nd, Darude will be playing right across the country with this tour set to include shows in Perth and Darwin, plus a string of dates across the east coast, including a performance at The Espy in Melbourne on June 12.

Darude remains one of dance music’s most influential stars. At the age of 24 and at the height of the trance boom of the early 00’s, the Finnish DJ / artist / producer Ville Virtanen created the milestone single ‘Sandstorm’ under his pseudonym Darude. The track recently hit 275 million streams on Spotify, plus another ¼ billion views of the video on YouTube, with no signs of slowing down. It has since become one of the biggest selling dance singles in the history of electronic dance music with global sales of over 6 million units and to date has featured on hundreds of compilations worldwide.
The Finnish trance giant continues to add to his stellar discography and remains as fresh as ever with recent releases including ‘Singularity’, ‘Surrender’ and ‘Timeless’.
Hailed by the likes of DJ Magazine as “Finland’s biggest musical export”, Darude has gone on to perform in front of audiences up to 100,000 people strong, sweeping across continents and rocking clubs the world over.
