Ross Hannaford, Daddy Cool Guitarist, Passes Away Aged 65

Despite his deteriorating health, he was diagnosed with cancer midway through last year, Ross Hannaford continued doing what he loved; performing at a concert in 2015 and also releasing a solo record in December.

Hannaford formed Daddy Cool with vocalist Ross Wilson in 1965 after they both played in Melbourne band the Pink Finks together.

In their career, Daddy Cool went on to win multiple ARIAs and create such hits as ‘Eagle Rock’ and ‘Come Back Again’.

The music world loses another legend.
