Join us on Saturday 17th June for ROCKATANSKI with special guests greenhouse and BLYSS.
ROCKATANSKI – With a full tank of gas and bad manners, Geelong / Surf Coast’s newest act described as the “red cordial of rock n roll” blend classic pub rock sounds with twists of punk and stoner rock.
greenhouse – No stranger to the Australian music scene, indie rockers greenhouse have been active since the 90’s. Their debut single See Saw (1990) became an instant Triple J favourite, landing them in the top ten of the National Alternative Charts. Two more top 10 indie hits followed over the next few years, charting alongside some of their heroes like The Pixies and The Cocteau Twins. Scott Thurling and Jane Gazzo’s Sound As Ever label, unearthed, remastered and released a lost greenhouse track, Pray, on the 2021 compilation album ‘Stuck on the ‘90s’. greenhouse unleashed a 14 track retrospective on the Sound As Ever 90-99 label in 2021. This album, Full Circles, includes their early recordings, previously unreleased material from their early recordings, previously unreleased material from their JJJ live at the wireless appearance and unreleased demos from their EMI sessions.
BLYSS – Get down early for their first ever show at The Barwon Club. New to the local circuit, the four piece are already making waves with their powerful lead vocals and wholesome indie rock / alternative flavours.
