River Riffs is a new free music festival at Batman Park taking place from November 23–25.

Melbourne’s music scene is about to get a whole lot groovier with the launch of River Riffs, the city’s first-ever floating music festival. Set to take place at Batman Park from November 23 to 25, this free concert is all set to redefine Melbourne’s festival culture.

Hosted by Uniquely Melbourne and the City of Melbourne, River Riffs will offer a unique experience as artists take center stage on a floating helipad in the iconic Yarra River. This stunning backdrop promises to elevate the festival’s vibes to new heights.

The lineup is nothing short of extraordinary, with headliners that will have you dancing the night away. Kicking off the festivities is TUSK: The Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show, scheduled for Thursday, November 23, from 8:30 to 10 pm. TUSK promises to offer a glimpse into what makes Fleetwood Mac one of the greatest bands of all time. Penni Jones’ portrayal of Stevie Nicks is nothing short of hauntingly authentic, capturing both her vocal prowess and the captivating intensity that defined her early career.

Established in the late ’90s, INXSIVE is all set to take the stage on Friday, November 24, from 8:30 to 10 pm. This band doesn’t just replicate INXS’s sound; they also capture the energy of their legendary live performances. With hits like “New Sensation” and “Need You Tonight,” INXSIVE offers a must-see experience for INXS fans and lovers of classic Australian rock.

To close out the festival on Saturday, November 25, from 8:30 to 10 pm, River Riffs will host “Fever Candlelight – A Tribute to Coldplay.” Candlelight Concerts by Fever is known for providing a one-of-a-kind experience in a candlelit setting across spectacular locations worldwide. Their shows have reached over three million people in 100+ cities, and with over 1.3 million followers on social media, they continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

But the excitement doesn’t stop with the headliners. River Riffs is all about celebrating emerging artists from Melbourne. The City of Melbourne will feature artists from their busking program in the park from 4 to 6 pm each night, giving local talent the chance to shine on a big stage.

In addition to the fantastic music, River Riffs offers an enticing array of food and drinks. With a bar on-site and delectable food trucks from Japanese eatery Kimu, Grillz on Wheelz serving burgers, and St. Gerry’s dishing out Greek donuts, your taste buds are in for a treat.
