Get ready for a Revival Runway fashion-packed event that’s got the whole of Geelong buzzing!

Revival Runway, the non-profit org making waves in the Aussie fashion scene, is gearing up for its debut at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Independent Program. And they’re bringing a fresh twist to the runway with their second Creative Coast show—back home in Geelong!

Creative Coast

  • When: Sunday 23 February, 1pm – 4pm
  • Where: Novotel Geelong, 10/14 Eastern Beach Rd
  • Tickets: Grab them here!

This year’s show is all about spotlighting the creativity that thrives along the coast—featuring a killer lineup of designers and brands from Geelong, the Surf Coast, and the Mornington Peninsula.

The event won’t just be about clothes—it’ll showcase local talent across the board, with models, makeup artists, hairstylists, and even fashion installations by some seriously cool Geelong-based textile artists.

Revival Runway has one goal in mind: to help emerging fashion brands and independent creatives get the professional opportunities they deserve. And they’re doing it all for free! That’s right—every volunteer at Revival Runway is giving their time, energy, and skills to support local talent. They’re even offering internships to fashion students, giving them a real-life, hands-on experience to boost their resumes.

“We feel strongly about supporting small, independent designers, particularly those who are located in regional Victoria. The rising cost of living in Australia has made it even harder for emerging brands to make an impact and reach their audiences, which is why we feel events like Creative Coast in Geelong matter.” – Sofie Carfi, Revival Runway founder.

And speaking of local talent, get ready to see some epic brands on the runway, from fan favourites like Jade & May, Zerafima, and Shortlist, to fresh new labels like Marisol, Pretty Parcel, and HLS. Sustainability is a huge focus too, with Here Again showing off their eco-friendly designs that are as stylish as they are sustainable.

The artisan side of fashion will also be taking centre stage, with textile artists Lea Oldjohn and Kate MV Sylvester showcasing wearable art inspired by their unique crafts. And if you’re a fan of standout accessories, you won’t want to miss The Hold, whose eye-catching bags will be strutted down the runway.

Adding a little upcycled magic to the mix, Geelong artist Lazarus Gordon will be showing off their jaw-dropping creations made from repurposed textiles in a one-of-a-kind fashion installation.

Niki Bruce, Revival Runway’s creative director, explains, “We feel strongly about supporting small, independent fashion designers and creatives, particularly those who are generally given less attention.”

Expect a unique and fun show format with two mini runway shows, separated by a 30-minute break. And here’s the best part: everyone gets a Front Row Seat!

So, grab your tickets, throw on your best fashion-forward outfit, and get ready to see the best of what Geelong and the surrounding areas have to offer at this must-see event!
