From 5:30pm to 9:30pm, attendees will have the chance to indulge in an impressive lineup of local and interstate craft beer, refreshing cocktails, and a wide range of spirits. Wander through the zoo’s picturesque trails and enjoy a drink from one of the many open-air bars while soaking in the unique atmosphere of the zoo at dusk. It’s a rare opportunity to glimpse the animals after hours in a completely transformed setting.

But Roar and Pour isn’t just about drinks—it’s about experiences that delight all the senses. Live acoustic music will set the mood, while a selection of tasty street food is available for purchase from the Picnic Lawns and Rail Gate Café. The carousel rides and exciting lawn games ensure there’s fun for all ages, and you can even get an airbrush tattoo to remember the night. For those looking to dance, a silent disco will keep the energy high.

One of the most exciting elements of the festival is the opportunity to hear from the zoo’s experts during fascinating and engaging animal talks. Meet the lemurs at 6pm, the giraffes at 6:20pm, and the lions at 6:50pm, learning more about these incredible creatures and how Zoos Victoria works to save them from extinction.

The best part? Your ticket helps Zoos Victoria in its mission to protect and conserve local wildlife, ensuring that this memorable night contributes to a greater cause.

Festival-goers can look forward to drinks from local favorites such as Kaiju Beer, Tallboy and Moose, Sundays Distilling, Brewmanity Beer Co, Inner North Brewing Co, and more. Whether you prefer a cold brew, a refreshing cocktail, or a glass of prosecco, there’s something for everyone.

Gather your friends, raise a glass, and enjoy the best of Melbourne’s local craft beverages all while supporting an essential cause—saving our wildlife.
