The event, named Spring Soiree and sponsored by TAC, will kick off at 6pm on Thursday, September 22 and includes two drinks and delicious canapes with further drinks also available at bar prices.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in their spring best and enjoy the fabulous entertainment from Geelong’s Piano Bar, all while mingling with Geelong’s local and inspiring community.

“Geelong Young Professionals’ social events are an incredible way to engage with both colleagues and to enhance professional development through building networking skills.
A favourite on the Geelong Young Professionals’ event calendar, these events are welcoming and link young professionals with those across Geelong’s many businesses and industries,” says Geelong Young Professionals Committee.

Champions of the power of community, the Geelong Young Professionals (GYP) Network is renowned for being a group of leading and inspiring Geelong’s upcoming professionals building a strong succession culture for the future of the Geelong region.

Their aim? To give young professionals, from those new to their roles to the young at heart, the opportunity to build networks and strengthen relationships with like-minded individuals via a series of innovative networking events. They’ve made a name for themselves in the region for these events in recent years, which often attract insightful and inspiring speakers to Geelong, including the likes of Chris Mackey, Jem Fuller, Sean Purcell and Keith Abraham, providing an informal approach to professional development and an awareness of advancing business in our region.

The GYP events are suited to those new to their roles, those inspired to learn more about the incredible region, to the young at heart!

So whether you’re working in the city or still grinding it out at home, the event is simply a great excuse to catch up with work mates, friends and make new connections in Geelong’s young professional network, all while supporting local business.
