Queenscliff Music Festival announces stacked first lineup for 2023

Aloe Blacc, Something For Kate, and Boy & Bear lead the lineup for the festival's returns to the Bellarine this November.

Fresh from delivering a long-awaited sold-out event last year, featuring the likes of The Teskey Brothers, John Butler and The Bamboos, the music jewel of the Bellarine the Queenscliff Music Festival is back for 2023 and has given a taste of what’s to come, announcing a majestic list of iconic artists for its first lineup reveal.

Returning for its 25th year this November, the Peninsula will welcome the likes of international artists American singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc, bringing his signature affirmative vibes, American rockers G Love & Special Sauce bringing their laid-back hip hop blues, and Irish sensation Foy Vance.

On the local front, indie folk favourites Boy & Bear join Something For Kate, Illy, Dan Sultan, Liz Stringer, Ian Moss, The Dreggs, Ngulmiya, and Alice Ivy for the November event.

With a huge focus on homegrown talent, the festival will also see Xylouris White, Mindy Meng Wang x Tim Shiel, Jem Cassar-Daley, Felipe Baldomir, Leah Senior, JAZZPARTY, William Crighton, WILSN, BEANS, Full Flower Moon Band, The Badloves, Willie J & The Bad Books, Eils & The Drip, Emily Barker and Cat Canteri heading to the Bellarine at the end of the year.

For those keen to hit up a festival with the family, QMF has also announced a huge range of activities as well as live favourites, Justine Clarke, Zindi & The Zillionaires and Bananas in Pyjamas live show.

Attracting more than 10,000 music lovers of all ages annually, the beloved Queenscliff Music Festival will see the intimate spaces of Queenscliff’s iconic streetscape transformed by live music while the crème de la crème of the music industry will be pumping out their golden sounds across four beautiful days in 2023. That’s right, this year the festival has expanded into a four-day event with Thursday night performances from The Badloves, JAZZPARTY, William Crighton, Leah Senior & more, performing in the beautiful intimate spaces of the Queenscliff Town Hall, Queenscliff Brewhouse, and Vue Grand Hotel.

The multi-award-winning Queenscliff Music Festival will be a four-day celebration of live music, family-friendly activities, locally sourced gourmet produce, fine booze and more. Staged on the lands of the Wadawurrung on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, the festival’s beach setting and picturesque locations attract music lovers from all over looking to soak up the laid-back vibes and the eclectic mix of music on offer.

QMF has long been the ideal weekend getaway for music lovers of all tastes and walks of life being just 90 minutes from Melbourne with festival goers treated to the best the Australian live music scene has to offer while sampling the delights of local and Bellarine craft produce.
