Queen of the West has a mega bash planned for the King’s Birthday including free pizza today

It's all starting tonight as the renewed Queen of the West breaks in their new pizza oven slinging free pizzas.

We’re inching closer and closer towards the long weekend in celebration of the King’s Birthday on public holiday on Monday 10 June 2024. Queen of the West are ringing in the weekend in a massive way with events happening each day.

Starting from 4pm today, the former Barking Dog restored to its former glory will be welcoming in a new addition to their home. With all of the incredible and much-needed sprucing done at the Pakington Street location including transform the yard area into a playground, the iconic pub is now welcoming in a new pizza oven. To launch the renovation under the new Queen’s Garden, they will be giving away free pizzas between 4pm and 6pm and running free wine tasting courtesy of Baie. those two hours also double as happy hour with $4 pots, $7 schooners, $9 pints and $9 wines. The mozzarella on top of the launch event slice is entertainment from Mike Monea, playing acoustic diddies from 7.30pm.

Why stop there? The weekend is just heating up heading into Saturday. Pay attention to their new kids cove, Queen of the West will be providing entertainment for the kidlets between 1pm and 3pm including free face painting, free wine tasting from White Kat Beverage Co between 4pm and 6pm and the delightful music talents of Levi Anderson will send off the night, playing acoustic classics from 7.30pm.

The same goes to Sunday, with continued children’s entertainment between 1pm and 3pm, and wine tastings – this time from Taylors – from 4pm – 6pm. On acoustic duties they will have Abe Anderson and Zac Anthony playing from 2pm.

The weekend closes out, again with kids entertainment between 1pm and 3pm, and specials on pizzas, parmis and burgers all day with no added surcharge.

Not only all of this, but the Queen of the West is an awesome local spot to watch the game this weekend on their big screens.
