Bringing together a community of like-minded individuals for their fifth edition, Pitch Music & Arts welcomes their community back to the tranquil Grampian plains for an aural experience of electronic music and an assembly of visual delights across four indelible days.
The festival shared on their social media back in September that they were hard at work planning a camping comeback, pending further clarity from Government authorities regarding large-scale events. Now with this clarity they are in a position to move forward with the planning of the event.
With two international artists announced straight up, Pitch Music & Arts are proving they are ready to invite international musical pioneers back to Australian shores, alongside an esteemed selection of local talent.
Maceo Plex is a sweet and sour one for Pitch fans after he dropped out of the last Pitch festival at the final minute, so fingers crossed we’ll see him live this year as he’s a massive figure in global electronic music. Known for his mythical reputation and genuine love of music, with an uncanny ability to create something new and unique. From his expansive catalogue of Techno heaters to IDM thinkers his music has spanned across genres and redefined the dance music artist. His last trip to Australia was for Pitch Music & Arts 2020 edition, his 2022 set will be a defining moment and have his performance taken to new heights.
He will be joined by Canadian by birth and now London-based, Grammy-nominated producer Jayda G has risen steadily and stealthily through the dance music underground with her infectious energy, vitality and boundless enthusiasm. The full music and arts programme will be announced soon.
