The Halls Gap Hotel present prolific Melbourne folk-pop duo, Pierce Brothers, in an open-air concert in the heart of the Grampians National Park.
From humble beginnings busking the streets of Melbourne, the Pierce Brothers have grown rapidly, now sharing their music with the world. Comprising of twin brothers Pat and Jack Pierce, the pair of multi-instrumentalists have been taking the world by storm, with sell-out shows across UK, Europe, Canada, USA and of course, Australia.
“We were at a point when we used to busk and we got to support a show at the Corner Hotel. And back in the day we were like – that’s it, that’s making it – if we ever sell-out the Corner Hotel, we’ve made it,” Pat told Forte Magazine in an earlier interview. “We never thought we would be playing to 20,000 people on the other side of the world.”
The boys’ most recent release, The Records Were Ours, came in at #9 on the ARIA chart, following its time spent topping the iTunes charts globally. With this, the brothers acknowledged celebrations were in order, so they’re hitting the road and taking to the skies with a mega world tour which will see them stop through Australia and New Zealand, Europe and the UK, as well as North America in support of Tash Sultana.
Supported by Gena Rose Bruce, along with crowd-favourite The Kite Machine, The Halls Gap Hotel invites patrons to join them on December 3 for what will be a day of quality live music, Australia’s favourite beer, Furphy, on tap, fine wines and gourmet food.
