Just weeks after Midnight Oil announced they’ll be doing a comeback tour in 2017, their esteemed front-man Peter Garrett has revealed he’ll be releasing a solo album on July 15.
A Version of Now is the album’s title and it will be the first solo release from the influential politician and is a reflection of the world around him. Garrett is joined by Midnight Oil alumni Martin Rotsey and Peter Luscombe as-well-as Jet’s Mark Wilson.
Foxtel’s Music Max will be airing a special documentary based on the creation of the album titled, Peter Garrett: A Version of Now – The Full Story, on July 12.
