Peninsula Piers & Pinots returns to the Mornington Peninsula this March Labour Day weekend

Here’s a hint: if you like the allure of a Labour Day weekend spent sipping beautiful Mornington Peninsula pinot by the bay at Flinders Pier, this is for you.

Showcasing maritime cool-climate pinot noirs and pinot gris, Peninsula Piers & Pinot gather by the sea annually on the March Labour Day weekend, where more than 50 wines are on taste with a selection of local food to purchase and live music adding to the festive vibe.

The event will take place on Sunday 12 March 2023 from 12pm to 3pm, held at Flinders foreshore adjacent to the pier.

Keep up with the latest in local news and entertainment here.

A celebration of the region since 2002, the Mornington Peninsula itself is uniquely situated with 3 breezes delivered via Port Phillip Bay, Western Port and Bass Strait. The effect creates ideal conditions for the region’s pinots – wines with outstanding flavours, balanced natural acidity and fine tannins. So, it makes sense to showcase all the beauty at one central event.

Tickets are $50 (+GST & Booking Fee) per person and each ticket includes a complimentary Riedel tasting glass, tasting notes and all wine tastings between 12 noon – 3pm.

There will be delicious food available to purchase from the ever popular The Flying Calamari Brothers, Greek Masa, Mushaki Dumplings, Harry’s Mussels and Boatshed Cheese with coffee from Brew Up Bar.

Enjoy the long weekend at this seaside venue tasting the wines of the region.
