If you're looking for a festival lineup packed with Aussie icons, the Peninsula Music Festival is it.
Returning for its second event of the year, the Peninsula Music Festival is giving music lovers an excuse to get out and about next month when it descends upon the natural Amphitheatre and surrounds of the Briars on the Mornington Peninsula with a summer lineup packed with Aussie icons.
The single-day event, slated for Saturday, December 4, will be headed by the likes of Hunters & Collectors’ frontman Mark Seymour and his band The Undertow, renowned Melbourne pop-rock band Boom Crash Opera and Sydney pub rockers Choirboys.

While that’s already enough to get us there, the festival will also feature huge performances from Australian pub rock royalty Dragon; ‘Everywhere You Go’ rockers Taxi Ride; Melbourne singer, songwriter and guitarist Deborah Conway; and Yacht Rock Revival, a dynamic eight-piece band paying tribute to 70’s light rock featuring the best songs from Hall and Oates, The Doobie Brothers and more.
Making a name for itself as a premier family-friendly event, the day will not only be packed with powerful live music, but also a tonne of good vibes, camping chairs, food trucks, and affordable drinks.
There will also be a swathe of kid’s activities to keep the little ones entertained all day long, including Multi Sports zone (consisting of five inflatables), a giant maze, a rock wall, as well as performances, workshops, roving and a 20-minute outdoor aerial show, plus heaps more.
After the most part of almost two years devoid of consistent live music, the festival and its homegrown lineup is a welcomed addition to the Victorian festival circuit, following its successful inaugural event over Easter this year. Spread across two days, the event features the likes of Bjorn Again, The Chantoozies, Brian Mannix, Daryl Braithwaite, Kate Ceberano and The Black Sorrows, performing to a packed crowd in Mt Martha.
With a lineup that would rival even the most renowned music festivals and all the best festival shenanigans to boot, the Peninsula Music Festival is definitely worth adding to your calendar this year.
