After another year of white washed Oscars nominees, the hashtag #oscarssowhite has sprung its head again in an aim to get the academy to change its ways.
Several celebrities (eg Will Smith) announced they would be boycotting the awards, and the academy has released a statement on a proposal aiming to change the lack of diversity in its nominees.
The proposal is to change the process in which members are eligible to vote, which as it stands even the members lack diversity.
