Jakubi will be making the most of summer, with the lads announcing a couple of coastal shows a touch later in the month.
The fivepiece outfit is comprised of two brothers, two cousins and one friend, and their combination of jangly guitars, hip hop beats and synth rhythms hits the spot.
Since the release of their first single in 2013, the band has racked up SoundCloud and YouTube streams in the millions, while a tour of the US and Canada helped the band find an international audience.
Even Perez Hilton digs the band, spruiking their single ‘Couch Potato’. You can enjoy the sunshine with them at the Lorne Hotel on January 22 and the Barwon Heads Hotel on January 23.
