September 9 is the date given for the release of Northeast Party House’s new album, Dare. Before that, you have ‘For You’ as a teaser.
Formed out of Melbourne in 2010, the band would be unearthed by the triple j crew the same year. It would then be a few years until the band dropped their debut album, Any Given Weekend, in 2014.
Last year the band took the plunge and headed abroad for a tour of the UK, Europe and the US. As well as testing the international market, it gave the band a chance to work on Dare, dividing the recording between London and Melbourne. Mixing and mastering was handled by drummer Malcolm Besley.
