Renowned for its opulent yet relaxed dining experience, New Zealand favourite Botswana Butchery is bringing its luxe meat- and seafood-focused offering to Melbourne.

Opening in May, Botswana Butchery invites you to three levels of dining that includes sunken dining rooms, large feature staircase, plush booths and long marble-topped bars. Serving you delicate dishes that are unique to the Melbourne venue, Botswana Butchery is the perfect place to enjoy dinner, a long lunch or just to grab a drink at the cocktail bar.

Helmed by Culinary Director Angel Fernandez, who brings extensive experience to the kitchen from his previous role as Culinary Director at Dante NYC, the menu at Botswana Brewery is all about showcasing the very best local produce from both Australia and New Zealand. Their signature dish is the four-hour slow cooked Whole Roasted Roaring Forties Lamb Shoulder – a dish so tender that it’s served with both a fork and a spoon.

From their delicious meat, game and seafood to their extensive wine menu, the menu at Botswana Butchery also showcases extremely high quality beef, ranging from sublime grass-fed Cape Crim Select, Blackmore’s wagyu all the way to the pure beefiness of the CopperTree Farms 1.6kg Tomahawk.
