New one day festival Heaps Good brings the best of Falls Festival lineup to Adelaide

Heaps Good Festival is the new event for those of us who miss out on heading to Falls Festival.

The thoughtful humans behind Spin Off, the one-day music festival made up of acts visiting Australia for Splendour in the Grass, have been busy at work to bring us their latest instalment – and it’s a killer!

Heaps Good is the brand-new one day festival in the heart of Adelaide featuring a selection of the best international and local talent from the Falls lineup, all ready to keep the new year celebrations rolling on Friday 6 January at the oh-so-convenient city location of Adelaide Showground. So whether you’ve already got plans for NYE, you missed out on tickets or you’re simply fast the whole camping festival thing, Heaps Good is the perfect one-day treat!

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

The new festival will take place across two carefully programmed stages, including a warehouse style area designed especially for the ultimate electronic music experience.

Perfectly timed post New Year’s Eve so you’re recovered, feeling fresh and ready to kick 2023 off the right way – accompanied by a world class lineup of British rock icons, visionary producers, emerging superstars and a host of local legends all playing exclusive South Australian summer shows for Heaps Good.

Easily one of the UK’s most successful bands to emerge in recent times, Arctic Monkeys will headline the Adelaide festival, boasting their iconic discography which has been streamed a staggering nine billion times.

Alongside the Arctic Monkeys, on the international front we’ll see the playful rhythms and irresistible melodies of DJ, producer and club culture icon Peggy Gou, critically acclaimed Scottish standouts CHVRCHES, and forward-thinking beatmaker Jamie xx who will take over the festival with his hugely influential sound, Grammy-nominated tracks and new festival-ready anthem, ‘LET’S DO IT AGAIN’. UK viral sensation PinkPantheress will also perform.

These international legends will be joined by local stars Ocean Alley, Fremantle fourpiece Spacey Jane, Brisbane charmer Young Franco, five-piece King Stingray, Social media queen and rising popstar Peach PRC and renowned tastemaker Ebony Boadu will also grace the stage, the in-demand DJ delivering yet another one of her dynamic sets for Heaps Good.
