The debut of a brand new “Festival of Colours” has been cancelled just after its announcement in response to various claims of being a phony.
Holi Play was destined to feature acts including Steve Angello, Afrojack and OMI but recieved claims of scamming after Angello and Afrojack seemed to already be booked at festivals overseas during the dates.
Although the mix up seemed to be cleared, the festival was cancelled in response to lack of government support, internet haters and poor ticket sales. The event planned to feature a water park, rides and an outdoor cinema. Alas, rest in peace Holi Play to what could have been.
