The Hornets ‘Celebrating 25 Years’

The Hornets have been a mainstay of Melbourne and Australia’s blues and roots scene for two and a half decades and it’s time to celebrate their contribution.
The Hornets have just released their new ninth album Lowdown in Lockdown.
Featuring special guests Lindsay Field, Steve Williams, (both from John Farnham’s band) Sam Lemann, Alex Vella Horne and Louie Burstin, plus all the regulars.

The current line-up of the band includes its three constant members: singer/songwriter, guitarist and author Craig Horne, ARIA Hall oFamer guitarist Jeff Burstin (Jo Jo Zep, Black Sorrows), ARIA Award winning keyboardist Bruce Haymes (Archie Roach, Paul Kelly) plus the driving rhythm section of Chris Tabone (Badloves) on drums and Yuri Pavlinov (Bamboos, Cat Empire) bass. The Hornets over the past 25 years have played literally thousands of foot-stompin’ shows up and down the country.
