‘GOLD’ sees The Maggie Pills unleash a fury whilst coated in an engimatic allure. Awash with haunting vocal layers and suspending harmonies, underscored by raucous drums and razor-sharp riffs, the track demands urgency and an unyielding defiance that embraces the wild essence of self-expression.

Heightening the single release is the accompanying music video directed/filmed by Venezuelan visual director Diego Homez and edited by Viva Nada Records. The clip was shot in Santiago de Chile, building a black and white ghost mining town to capture the sense of unease and desolation present in the lyrics.

Of the new single, the band says, “‘GOLD’ is a recognition of the value that each of us can bring about, and how this talent is often overshadowed by the more conventional creators. We are talented, brilliant, revolutionary change makers. We are also different, weird, non-conforming, and queer; we have a different accent or a way of being that is not part of the status quo, and this brings a challenge that we will always face. ‘GOLD’ invites us to dance frantically and to let our beautiful chaos come out without impositions or conditions. Being different and true to ourselves can be painful and isolating, but we believe that it is the most valuable thing we can give out to the world.”
