The announcement comes soon after Ellis-Bextor headlined the new lineup additions to Summer Camp Festival, alongside French DJ Kiddy Smile, DJ Jodie Harsh, and French music producer and singer Coucou Chloé added to the lineup. Summer Camp Festival is an LGBTQI+ focused music festival set to hit Melbourne in November.
Selling more than two million copies of her debut album, Sophie Ellis-Bextor is no stranger to the stage. Following her chart-topping track ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’, Ellis-Bextor teamed up with Italian DJ Spiller adding vocals to his track ‘Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)’ which entered the UK charts at number one.
Over the years the English songstress has become the club favourite for a generation, collaborating with the biggest DJs including Bob Sinclair, The Freemasons and Armin Van Buren. After performing weekly during lockdown, Ellis-Bextor created ‘Kitchen Disco‘ which reached 40 million viewers.
