If you’re craving the best of American cooking with a touch of Mexican flavours, Mulita BBQ – a joint for all burger lovers – has loaded their food truck and will be setting up in Grovedale with some bloody delicious burgers for the foreseeable future.
Having earned themselves a solid reputation for American BBQ with fresh and vibrant Mexican influences out in North Geelong for the past few years, it’s their dedication to the Texas-style smoked meats (with some dishes requiring up to 12 hours of smoking) that have customers coming back time and time again.
While the restaurant has always been a favourite, it’s their food truck that’s been delighting the region, hitting up various locations on weekends, from Lara and Bannockburn, to Mt Duneed and Torquay.

Now the food truck is set to pump the breaks, parking at the new Blackman’s Brewery in Grovedale. Revealed to be a long-term collaboration, this means Mulita BBQ fans can get their fix that side of town from Thursday to Sunday – every week.
On the food truck menu, you’ll find a range of out-of-this-world delicious burgers, available by themselves or in a combo. They pack ‘em high, force in the flavour and make each bun-wrapped treat a delight! Think Black Angus Reserve Brisket, pulled pork or even the Nashville Hot Chicken… ooofftt. Alongside the burgers, you’ll also find chilli cheese fries, seasoned fries, and some tasty kids meals.
You know what makes these beers even better though? Pairing it with a beer! With a whole selection of delicious Blackman’s beers at your fingertips, this collaboration is one of the best we’ve seen in a very long time.
After all, having a juicy burger without a cold frothy is pretty much like putting on a bathing suit and slapping a sweet zinc stripe across your nose and then staying inside all day. Just can’t have it.

For those that dig the restaurant, don’t stress they’ll still be going strong Friday and Saturday nights.
Mulita BBQ will be slinging burgers at Blackman’s Brewery Thursday and Friday from 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm. The brewery is located at 29/8 Lewalan St, Grovedale.
