After launching an extensive call-out late last year, Mountain to Mouth has finalised the line up of artists to be involved in the event this year on May 6-7.
Artists involved in inspiring walkers along their journey will be Glenn Romanis, Liz McGrath, Michelle Fifer Spooner, Mahony Kiely and more.
M~M is an 80km journey of discovery from the You Yangs mountain range crossing Geelong’s industrial landscape to the heart of town, where participants will meet the excitement of Geelong After Dark – an event which fills Geelong with activity throughout the evening and into the night.
The next day walkers will follow the Barwon River along to the rolling farmlands of the Bellarine. To find out more information on the trek itself, visit the website.
Across the 80km walk there will be 12 “Walking Circles” created by various artists from the Geelong region. Given the theme of ‘AIR’ artists will create pieces that will ephemeral labyrinths inspired by the issues facing the Geelong region.
A full artist line up can be found from the website.
