With a country pub atmosphere, only 20 minutes from the Geelong CBD, the Mount Moriac Hotel is not your ordinary country pub. There are six different dining spaces for you to choose from, depending on your mood, which includes bistro and bar dining, an undercover and heated beer garden and an MT/Yard space. Plus, it’s dog friendly and there’s a bunch of large outdoor games.
The menu is equally as impressive with classics like chicken Parmigiana, burgers, fish and chips, steaks and pizza, alongside more elevated meals like Crispy pork belly, Laksa glazed barramundi and seafood pappardelle pasta. Kids are accounted for too with their own dedicated menu featuring pizzas, nuggets and even a Kids Cheeseburger. Head in on a Monday and kids eat free!
For desserts, indulge in the likes of Sticky date pudding, Chocolate volcano, Caramel volcano, Black Forest cake, Orange & Almond cake, plus more.
If you love a special, every Sunday you can get a $24 Roast deal that includes a free drink, $23 for a pot and parmi on a Tuesday, and $23 rump steak nights with a free drink on a Wednesday.

Not only is the food and drink list incredible but there is also a $12 happy hour (7:30pm) special on cocktails every Saturday night. If you want to do a back-to-back sesh, they also have live music AND a meat raffle every Friday night, you’d be crazy not to head on over.
Also, if betting is for you, the Mount is a registered TAB venue, so you can place some bets, have some bevs and look forward to a classic pub feed.
Now, if you’re in the middle of a road trip and are looking for somewhere to crash in between the Mount Moriac Hotel also offers free camping spots for a maximum of 48 hours, which due to limited capacity, is only available to campers with a table reservation. It’s simple, just pitch your tent or park your caravan in the nearby available spots, and head inside for a parmi feed and a couple dozen drinks of your choice. You don’t have far to go when you’re ready for a snooze.
