The 2016 Moomba Festial is shaping up for one of their biggest years yet, revealing a slew of Australian live music and special events to kick-start their program.
The likes of Alpine, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Tim Rogers & The Bamboos and British India will take to the stage, alongside acclaimed Australian rapper Briggs, City Calm Down, Mighty Duke & The Lords, The Wilson Pickers, This Way North, Horns Of Leroy, Jakubi, The VANNS, The Settlement, Mitch King, Passerine, Animaux, Young Vincent, Vaudeville Smash, Combo La Revelacion and more.
Elsewhere in the program comes skateboarding competitions, the traditional Birdman Rally, fireworks, a silent disco and cinema screenings showing the likes of Peter Pan and Chicken Run.
Moomba 2016 will take place from March 11 – 14, with free music and events along the banks of the Yarra. Head to their site for full program details.
