Following the announcement yesterday of 2025 dates and their sad goodbye, Meadow has come in hot with their first lineup drop.

When things come to an end you either go big or go home, right?

That’s exactly what Bambra’s beloved three-day genre-melding music festival, Meadow, is doing. Announcing their 10th and final instalment yesterday, Meadow will be returning across the weekend of 21 – 23 March 2025 and it’s already looking big.

This morning they have announced the first talent taking to the small single stage in 2025, American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist MJ Lenderman, returning to Australia for a special performance on the Meadow Stage.

A hero with the guitar, a poet with the pen (or perhaps the notepad app on his phone) and a songwriter for the ages, MJ Lenderman has skyrocketed to notoriety with the delivery of his near perfect fourth record, Manning Fireworks (just look at the flood of reviews praising the talent)Posing as the most carefree composition to ever be curated, the album is an undeniable lesson in craftmanship with songwriting and execution.

The continued success follows his 2022 breakout record Boat Songs, which has seen Lenderman lean into the touring life with fellow breakout act Wednesday. A quick and steep trajectory, MJ Lenderman will be bringing all of the magic of Manning Fireworks to Bambra next year for Meadow’s final festival.

His joins a resume of revered artists to take to the Meadow single stage, playing to a 1500 capacity intimate audience. The small, and every bit iconic, stage has hosted the likes of Kurt Vile, Lucy Dacus, Confidence Man, King Gizzard & The Lizard, Angie McMahon, Stella Donnelly, King Stingray, Camp Cope, Methyl Ethel, TFS, Black Midi and many more emerging and established local artists over the last decade. Meadow has made a point of mixing established with emerging in the quaint setting, fostering a community of dedicated music lovers.

Further Meadow lineup details will be coming soon with a limited release of tickets going live this morning for eager to-be-punters.

General release tickets for Meadow 2025 will go live when the lineup drops. They promise it will be soon!
