Taking place in some of the most picturesque locations around the country, the touring festival will land in Ballarat on Sunday, February 27 next year at the outdoor location of North Gardens for a COVID safe event.

Known for delivering cream of the crop artists to the great Australian outdoors, the Ballarat edition will see the likes of Missy Higgins, Birds of Tokyo, Xavier Rudd, Pete Murray, The Waifs, The Dreggs and Tulliah take to the regional stage for a Sunday sesh like no other, gifting starved music lovers a moment to be out in the fresh air, encircled by greenery and listening to a world-class lineup of Aussie musicians.

The summer event will also be bringing a similar lineup to St Kilda’s M.O. Moran Reserve a month later on Sunday, March 27, bringing along John Butler in lieu of Pete Murray and The Dreggs.

Since its inception, SummerSalt has continued to deliver the finest Australian artists in some of the most scenic locations around the country. This festival event is set to be a great day out with live music and a vibrant setting.

Alongside the iconic homegrown Australian talent performing live music at this scenic location, punters will also find a number of family-friendly activities, local market stalls, food trucks, and a selection of refreshing beverages to see you through. After so long without festivals, Ballarat gardens seems like the perfect place to bask in the sun while kicking back or dancing the day and night away to some of Australia’s best live music.

“After powering through a tumultuous time for live concerts, we are so excited to return to Victoria with another two great outdoor festival events,” says promoter John Zaccaria.

“We’re all keen to get back to enjoying fun days out with friends and some of Australia’s best live music. We have another top line-up of homegrown Aussie talent to bring to Ballarat & Melbourne and can’t wait to see music fans out again making sensational summer memories with their mates.”
