Midsumma regional activation celebrates LGBTQIA+ communities across the state

words by staff writer

This year, the Victoria’s Pride Regional Program has commissioned a colourful variety of distinct projects to energise LGBTQIA+ communities across regional, rural, and remote Victoria - and there's still plenty left to see and do!

Alongside The Pride finder Podcast Season 2, these activations culminate in an electrifying day-and-night street party in Naarm/Melbourne’s iconic Gertrude and Smith Street precinct on Sunday, 9 February 2025.

This statewide celebration goes beyond metropolitan borders, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive representation ofLGBTQIA+ cultures while fostering a sense of pride that resonates across Victoria.

Keep up with the latest in local news and events here.
