Playing stadium shows for one night only in each city across Australian and New Zealand, the metal heavyweights return!
Metallica has confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be coming to Australia and New Zealand in November of 2025. Playing massive stadium shows, the gods of metal will start the month in Perth on 1 November playing Optus Stadium, head to Adelaide on 5 November to play Adelaide oval, jet to Melbourne on 8 November to play Marvel Stadium, head up to Brisbane for a show at Suncorp Stadium on 12 November, play at Accor Stadium in Sydney on 15 November before wrapping up in Auckland ‘s Eden Park on 19 November.

These dates will feature Metallica performing at the end of each stadium and will include the infamous Snake Pit extending from the front of the stage. There will be a full complement of Enhanced Experiences available, ranging from access to a meet and greet, production and stage tour, food and beverage in the “Black Box” lounge, early entry into the venue, and the aforementioned Snake Pit. The very popular “I Disappear Ticket” will also be available, which enables fans to attend to all six shows in Australia and New Zealand, and travel packages including tickets and hotel will be available in four of the six cities.
It’s a huge deal for Metallica fans who last saw Metallica play shows in 2013 as the headliner of the now defunct Soundwave Festival. Since then Metallica have seen a pop culture resurgence with their track ‘Master of Puppets’ becoming popularised by Netflix series Stranger Things with Eddie Munson waving the flag for the metalheads.
Making these shows even more grand for the ‘Enter Sandman’ hit makers is the support from gothic rockers Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies who will play all M72 2025 Australia and New Zealand dates.
