Meraki Minds

Get ready to shake your mid-winter jicker and bust out your ugliest sweater, Meraki Minds are hitting the road again for our ‘Apologies’ single launch/Christmas in July tour!

We’re keen to bring our music to the beloved Barwon Club with local legends My Giddy Aunt and Deporsal. In the good old Christmas in July tradition, we’ll be serving up some goodies (gifts) and perhaps mulled wine to keep you warm as you boogie to our indie-pop tunes.

Meraki Minds are your favourite five-piece indie-pop band sweethearts: Whacky, wholesome and a little eclectic. Meraki Minds write their music while navigating post-coming-of-age inertia – drinking in the kitchen, making friends for life, under pressure, but still stumbling our way through. With jangly guitars that add a touch of whimsy, and dreamy vocals that ring around your head for days later, Meraki’s anthems are gaining traction for their electric stage presence.

Fresh out of high school, Ballarat-borne Indie-pop band Meraki Minds became Battle of The Band Winners and secured a slot at Spilt Milk Festival 2019. Meraki are active in Victoria’s music scene, playing Lockhart Music Festival and a regional tour in tandem with On The Road Again initiatives in 2021. They have just released two music videos, appearing on RAGE twice with their latest LP in 2023, “When the Weather Was Warm”, and are set to do a mini-tour for their single, “Apologies’ in July this year.
