Finally. The votes are in. The facts baked into a crispy crust, and sprinkled with cheese.

Pineapple. Our controversial little friend, was the third top choice of pizza topping in all of Australia!
Yes. It’s true.
Menulog has looked into the debate, currently dividing the world, and ran the numbers.
The research found that 7,000 people did choose to remove it from their pizza last year… and that is perfectly okay.
But the facts also state that 200,000 added it to their pizza – completely outweighing the passionate-non-pineapples.

Still not convinced?
Australia is fond of their pizzas, with Italian food being the favorite category for 12 years straight. They know what they want. With four million pizzas being ordered just last year, 1,825,000 of them had pineapple on them.
Hawaiian was also the second most popular pizza choice, and yes, that is known for its precious pineapple pieces.
So, next time your dressing your pizza to perfection, try adding some pineapple. You’ll pleasantly surprised, it’s impossible to ruin pizza.
