Radius Art Space is hosting a massive market this weekend, Mellow Out Market.
Taking over Radius Art Space in Hepburn-Springs this Saturday 14 December 2024 is the Mellow Out Market. Celebrating the local creatives of the region, Mellow Out Market will include stalls of local artisan finds, local live music, a theatre performance, food and drink and fun stuff for the kids and whole family.

A not-for-profit arts and community organisation, Radius Art Space have curated a selection of the best local artists and creatives as stall holders including Sandra Fiona Long who will have her botanical-based artworks, Clare Moon who makes laser cut ply wood ‘city birds’, Joanne Mott with her jewellery selection, print-maker works and sculptures from Jackie Gorring, bath bombs and salts from Jessica Lee Smith and Kristeena Saville will have her keepsake collection on offer. Additionally Traverse Studio, Side Show and The Makers Store at Radius also offer goods to purchase ahead of the Christmas craziness.
From 11am until midnight the place will be popping with live local music and DJ sets. An African Drumming circle will open the event from 12pm, followed by sets from Subgenre, Roshin, Miso & Myers B2B, Sasha Taylor-Holmes, Cosmik Frequencies and Fahad. In special performances taking things into the evening local acts Square Wave Bounce and Ok Darling will bring full band shows to the space.
In something a little different for traditional markets, Mellow Out Market will host a special theatre performance from Little Theatre Productions. Showcasing the latest work by Jeff Stewart and Cath Davies the performance promises to awaken your imagination as it takes you on a journey with a magically illustrated mini theatre experience.
Food and drink will be supplied by mobile coffee bar Mule & Bean and souvlaki’s and wraps will be available from Diego. Join in on some other fun thanks to Jess Lee Smith who will be decorating faces at the face painting station, or find out what 2025 holds with a reading or spiritual connection from Psychic Tash.
