For those who love a little kick in their food, you’d be delighted to know that Melbourne is hosting a chilli festival this year.
Yep, on June 4 a bunch of food trucks will be gathering on Malvern Road to bring you some of the best chilli dishes around. Melbourne food truck favourites Hobba will be teaming up with Dos Diablos, Little Mushroom Co. and Soul Kitchen Pizza to alter existing menu items to burn your mouth in the best possible way.
For the super dedicated, there will be a chilli eating competition (yes, just like The Simpsons!), although there have been no details revealed on that front so far, you’ll need to sign a waiver to compete. Funds of the day will raise money for the Prahran Mission.
