Melbourne singer-songwriter and producer Jade Alice has stepped it up with a new dance track

You know the saying, when you find something good hold onto it?
Well that’s kind of how we feel about Melbourne singer-songwriter and producer Jade Alice.
She caught our attention back in 2015 after she was crowned the winner of the Melbourne Music Bank competition, and then again this year when she came back into our lives with her anticipated single ‘Heartbreak Club’.
Well now she’s back again, this time with her new dance track ‘In The Deep’.
‘In the Deep’ is a testament to all that is great about Pop. Beginning with harmonies descending from the heavens above, her lush vocals cuddle you tightly in what feels like a warm, fuzzy blanket knitted together with euphoria and love. The track then diverts its course from dream-pop ballad of the year to roof-raising dance track of the century when the pounding kick hits dead centre in the mix, making it impossible not to feel instant attachment to the groove. ‘In the Deep’ brings forward feelings of immense nostalgia and love, flowing seamlessly from lush dream-pop to raving dance hit without a single falter in one of Jade Alice’s gracious steps.
“I wanted to capture an urgency and excitement, like a kid with no inhibitions or preconceptions. Just being playful and honest about an attraction to someone. It’s that moment when you first see a person, and you don’t know a thing about them, but you can connect on the basis that you are both just human beings with the same hearts and the ‘same bones’,” she says.
