In more news of the brilliant things Tina Fey has done for our procrastination, on a recent Times Talk for her new film, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Fey admitted the Mean Girls musical is still on its way. As she says when asked by an audience member, “Yes. It is happening. It’s only… years away.” The project is said to be put together by Jeff Richmond and Neil Benjamin – who also helped make Legally Blonde the musical a thing. That is so fetch.
