Great news local festival lovers. The much-loved boutique music festival Meadow (previously known as By The Meadow) is back for 2021, following last year’s cancelled event.

Originally slated to take place from Friday 27 – Sunday 29 March 2020, and play host to Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Sheer Mag (US), Angie McMahon, Dyson Stringer Cloher, Elizabeth, Surprise Chef and the ‘forever young’ Youth Group, the seventh edition of the festival was cancelled as a result of the coronavirus.
Entering 2021 full of fire, the annual three-day and two-night celebration returns to the lush farmland hamlet of Bambra (Victoria’s enchanting Otway Surf Coast region) and promises to be an unforgettable auditory experience, whilst adhering to all the new COVID-guidelines of course. The event will take place a month later than usual this year, scheduled for April 23-25 and while we don’t have eyes on the lineup just yet, judging from previous years it will be an exciting testament to the sheer diversity of local talent which forms our thriving music landscape.
For 2021, organisers have advised that this year’s edition will look a little different to what punters are used to.
“COVID safety will be a priority at Meadow 2021. If you intend to attend our festival, please be patient and aware that things will not be the same as normal. We ask you to be open-minded about what it takes to bring live music events together in a COVID safe environment,” the event revealed.
If you were a 2020 ticketholder and you opted to hold onto your ticket for our 2021 event but can no longer make it, the team are also reopening their refund program for a very brief window before they announce the new lineup. For those peeps, all you need to do is complete this form to opt into a refund before 5pm on Tuesday February 2.
