When you are a thrash metal band, starting at the “Big Four” is your honour-bound duty. Proudly adopting the ’80s thrash sound and mixing it with fast tempos and a dominating rhythm section, Melbourne-based outfit Mason released their self-titled debut EP in 2011.
Now they deliver their second, Unmerciful. In a big night of the heavy stuff, Mason will check in on The Eastern, Ballarat this Saturday night, March 5, where they will be joined by Hybrid Nightmares, Requiem, Bury Me in Autumn and Feast of Crows. Hybrid Nightmares kicked their year off with a small number of shows in Japan, while Requiem will be showing off their 2015 release, Damnation.
