Australian idol Marcia Hines moves Ballarat 'Still Shining: The 50th Anniversary Concert Tour' show from Civic Hall to Her Majesty's Theatre.
Marcia Hines has announced her Ballarat show on her Still Shining: The 50th Anniversary Concert has been moved from its 10 November date at Civic Hall has been moved to the new Her Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday, 24 November for a 3pm matinee show.
Existing ticket holders will be contacted directly regarding reissuing tickets for the new venue and date, and further tickets will be released, going on sale at 10am, Tuesday 30 July.

The Still Shining: The 50th Anniversary Concert Tour is a celebration of the singer, songwriter and beloved member of the theatre and music community’s never-ending career inventions. It has now been over 50 years since Hines first arrived in Australia to join the cast of Hair with Hines going on to be hailed the Queen of Pop, a favourite judge on Australian Idol on the original show for seven consecutive years, returning in 2024 for the Seven Network’s series reinvention. An ARIA Hall of Fame inductee in 2007, and Order of Australia (AM) recipient (2009) for her contribution to the Australian entertainment industry, Hines has had a colourful career in the music industry. She also has 22 albums with 2.6 million copies sold to show for her efforts, on top of her chart-topping singles.
As he career continues, Hines says “There are still many rivers to cross”. It’s evident by her album Still Shining – The 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collection which was released in June 2023 and in November of that same year, The Gospel According to Marcia was released in celebration of her musical roots and journey from her childhood in Boston and her experiences with church and gospel music.
