Lucie Thorne and Suzannah Espie will perform a special double¬ header at The Old Church on the Hill on April 17.
The afternoon show, which kicks off at 4pm, will showcase amongst other things Thorne’s most recent album, 2015’s Everything Sings Tonight. The core of the album was put down in a Berlin studio while the singer¬ songwriter was on tour.
A handful of guests appear on the album, including Lucie’s old man Tim Thorne. Suzannah Espie was born in England, grew up in WA, and found herself in Melbourne at the age of eighteen. She released five albums with alt-country outfit GIT, while as a solo performer she is up to album number four, the latest being Mother’s Not Feeling Herself Today.
