Loosen your belts, Wah Bah is running a killer weekly dumpling night

Good things come in small packages, and so do great things, such as dumplings.

From the moment Wah Bah stepped foot on our blissful waterfront, our stomachs have been better off. Perched out on Cunningham Pier, Wah Bah is the cheeky, loud and boisterous younger sibling of the always popular Asian Fusion restaurant, Wah Wah Gee, known for their yummy dumplings, forever loved Bao Buns, flavoursome poke bowls, hearty curries, and even mini cinnamon donuts (best warmed).

Spoiling us for choice, every damn day, Wah Bah excels at one thing in particular, and that’s celebrating a love of food, minus the costly bill at the end.

Knowing that there should be no limit on your dumpling desires, this Geelong hot spot has introduced a weekly dumpling night.

The key takeaways

  • Geelong’s Wah Bah is running a weekly dumpling night
  • You can get your hands on five dumplings for just $5
  • You can even choose to get your little pockets of flavour either steamed OR fried

Keep up with the latest food and booze news via our website.

Every Thursday night from 5pm, the Bah will be slinging five dumplings for just $5. That’s quite the saving when a plate of five usually costs you around $15.

You can choose from either Pork and Chive with marinated pineapple and spicy ponzu sauce; chicken and Mushroom with Sesame, soya, ginger and rosemary dressing; or Carrot, Pea & Shiitake with aromatic coconut curry and spring onion (vegan option!).

Offering a twist on the traditional classics, you can also get your hands on a plate of ‘Fusion Drumplings’. Offering an unforgettable taste sensation never before experienced, these babies come in a Cheeseburger flavour with Chipotle vegenaise, rocket leaves and sesame. You just have to give it a go, don’t you?

Better still, you can even choose to get your little pockets of flavour either steamed OR fried – totally up to you. Did we mention you can order as many as you like?

If you like to treat yourself to a whole range of options, the regular menu is of course still available on the night too so you can pair your cheap dumplings with some crispy chicken bao, some grilled corn on the cob, and some of their famed Korean fried cauliflower. Talk about a feast!

There’s really nothing quite as satisfying as dipping these little pockets of amazingness into sauce and then stuffing your face! Kicking off at 5pm, this is a deal too good to miss.
