The boutique Victorian festival will now take place 14-16 January 2022
Hailed as one of Victoria’s best boutique festivals over the last couple of years, Loch Hart Music Festival is the latest victim to the restrictions and disruptions caused by the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, postponing its festival to January 2022.
In what was an anticipated return for the summer, the festival was due to take place on November 19-21 this year in the small scenic town of Princetown after an involuntary break in 2020.

Situated a stone’s throw from The Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge along Victoria’s iconic Great Ocean Road, the grassroots BYO event will now play host to more than 20 Australian acts over one weekend on one stage in a natural amphitheatre at Kangaroobie Camp from January 14-16 2022, giving the festival the extra time needed to put together an event that adhere’s to the Victorian roadmap.
“We all know how this goes… Unfortunately, November is looking a little too dicey to host a music festival. But after taking 2020 off we refuse to wait another full year to come together again, so we are officially a summer festival,” a statement read.
“All ticket holders have been emailed with further details – we can’t wait to see you soon.”
Having previously seen performances from the likes of Didirri, Alice Ivy, Alpine, Waax, Last Dinosaurs and Genesis Owusu over the years to the delight of hundreds of happy punters, the 2022 edition is set to host the likes of already announced artists Bad//Dreems, The Spaghetti Stains, KYE, Sunnyside, Dorsal Fins; Telenova; Surf Coast alt-pop artist Libby Steel; and Ballarat’s Meraki Minds, as well as Darwin’s infectious indie-rocker Stevie Jean, Melbourne psych-rock four-piece Washed Up Wizards and the well-loved PBS FM brekky host and beat scientist, DJ Milo Eastwood.
These acts, with even more to be announced, are all set to perform in the small scenic town of Princetown when the festival makes its seriously anticipated return for summer.
