Andrew Humphris from the Mt Duneed Estate team will host the evening. Andrew will share his knowledge with wine-lovers and explain the delicate pairings guests will enjoy. There’s some fun to be had as well, with the event teasing games and giveaways.
Foodies and wine enthusiasts will appreciate carefully curated pairings, such as the panfried blue-eye, asparagus and preserved lemon beurre blanc with Mt Duneed Estate Pinot Gris. The menu finishes with decadent flavours of dark chocolate and cherry to complement Mt Duneed’s Sparkling Shiraz.
The Coast Restaurant is known for its local menu, extending to their extensive drinks list. Locally sourced wines include Brown Magpie, Bellbrae Estate, Pondalowie, Alt Rd, and of course Mt Duneed Estate. There are also craft cocktails featuring local favourite Great Ocean Road Gin, and Timboon Distillery. The full drinks list is available on the evening for anyone looking to add a cocktail or sip on something else in between courses.
The Coast has an intimate ambience, surrounded by lush greenery and tucked away at the back of Great Ocean Road Resort in Anglesea, it’s certainly a hidden foodie gem.
