Local band Residual to donate 100 per cent of EP profits this month to Movember Foundation

Local Geelong band Residual may be clean shaven, but they’re still doing their bit for the Movember Foundation this month by donating the profits of all physical EP Haunt sales to the cause.

The news was announced via social media, with the band adding: “On a serious note, men’s health is often a topic that can be swept under the rug, whether it’s mental or physical but the statistics show that if we can start the conversations by something as simple as growing a lip warmer and grabbing a CD, we can put a dent in and start to change the face of men’s health.”

The EP itself was released earlier in the year and can be picked up via the band’s BigCartel page. You can also donate direct to the cause here.

The Movember Foundation cause runs for the duration of November and often inspires men around Australia to grow a mustache and raise funds and awareness to reduce the numbers of men dying young from things like prostate cancer, testiculur cancer and mental health issues. If growing a mo is not your thing you can also take the active challenge. Find out about that here.
