Barwon Heads will be spoiled by a cosmic performance from living legend Deborah Conway, who is celebrating the 25th anniversary of her platinum release String of Pearls.
As the only regional Victorian stop on the tour, the iconic Aussie singer-songwriter will perform the entire album in the coastal town as part of the Music to a Tee series.
Prior to the release of her new album Everybody’s Begging in September, Conway will offer fans a preview into her newest work alongside long-time collaborator and partner Willy Zygie, and full band featuring Vika and Linda Bull on backing vocals.
Coined a multi genre artist, the multi-award winner’s music entwines pop, rock, blues, country and contemporary folk – by no means confining her music to any category. Expect to hear a range of acoustic pop and gentle ballads with themes of youthful reflection and tongue in check irreverence as she brings the classic record to life.
